Produces anemone red flowers. The bloom is medium (about 4-5 inches), Blooms mid to late season (Feb to March). Evergreen shrub hardy in zones 6 through 10 with dark glossy green leaves. April Tryst prefers slightly acidic soils with filtered sun to shade.Great for use in shade gardens, woodland plantings, as specimen plants, or in large container gardening.
