Vigorous, dense rounded evergreen with dark glossy foliage with big bunches of pink flower buds that open to huge, pure white trusses of blooms in mid-May. Our hardiest broadleaf white rhododendron, this variety is vigorous growing and dependably sets loads of lilac-tinged flower buds that open pure white with yellow blotches in mid-May. Superb leathery-green foliage. This acid-loving plant has a shallow root system. Plant in rich organic, well-drained soil and mulch to protect the root system. This handsome broadleaf evergreen does well in sun or light shade and can grow from 6’ to 8’ tall with equal spread. Beautiful used in a natural setting, single specimen or mass planting, excellent choice for a blooming hedge.
