Finely textured evergreen shrub with arching branches clothed with soft, silvery-gray needles. Winter color in colder climates can be some what purpleish.  Very effective planted in masses, as a tall ground cover,  Excellent for use as a low screen, background or accent. Withstands a wide variety of soils and growing conditions. Very long lived. Requires little maintenance. Drought tolerant when established.
