Extremely fragrant flowers set this summer blooming variety apart from others. Peaking in mid-June, the silvery-pink flowers will continue to exude a sweet scent through late in the month. Mildew-resistant, deciduous foliage turns orange red in September and October. Deciduous azaleas are probably the most striking flowering shrubs. Their colors are vivid and bright, and often have the shades that not many other azaleas and rhododendrons can offer.
